Mandela graduated from Proline Soccer Academy in 2010 and is one the long-serving and influential midfielder.
He enjoyed an impressive season last season, playing 90 percent of all the games.
Mandela is strong in the tackle, has tremendous stamina, an eye for a pass and also weighs in with his fair command in the heart of the mid field.
He played with the academy team in the first division in the season 2011/2012 and broke into the first-team squad the following season, with his first game against Soana Football Club away at Kavumba.The game ended 2-1 in favor of Proline.

Following a very impressive campaign in the Big League season 2015/2016, he was voted as Proline Player of the Year by fellow teammates and the technical staffs.
As feisty and tenacious as ever, Mandela added another element to his game in 2015/16, combining his tough-tackling approach with more incisive passing and surging forward runs something he will now enjoy more with the new Proline midfield partnership of himself ,Gift Ali and new Sam Kintu ‘Tiyo’.
