Team Captain

Mbazila joined Proline as a scholar in 2007 and impressed at youth level before making his first-team debut as a left-back.

In 2010, he broke into the first-team squad and it’s that great performance that saw him leave for professional ranks in Portugal.

Dynamic full back Mbazila returned to Proline in 2015 after playing professional football in Portugal.

Previous Clubs: Proline - 2007 – 2010, R’dagueda in third division of the Portuguese league -2010,    Esperance de Lagos-2012.

On his Return, Mbazila was named team captain and led the team back to the Azam Uganda Premier League.

The versatile defender who can also play in any position in the midfield first joined Proline in 2007 before leaving for R’dagueda in third division of the Portuguese league.

In 2011 he moved to Esperance de lagos and helped them gain promotion to Protuguese Segunda B. He went on to firmly establish himself as he became the second top scorer.

Captain as commonly referred to is a tireless worker who enjoys playing on the left flank especially as full back.

He is a great passer of the ball as well as a tackler. Mbazila’s leadership qualities have seen him take on the captain’s arm-ban in all the teams he has played for.

Last season in the Big League, he scored 7 goals and from a defender, that’s a tremendous contribution.

Mbazila has 4 national team caps to his name and also played 8 times for the national youth side U-23.
